SPEECH RECOGNITION
Did you see the Gadget show last year? One of the episodes featured Dragon
Speech Recognition. It was quite interesting to see that they feel the same
as me, that it should be a lot better than it is, in view of how long it has
been around. They gave it 3 out of 5. I think a lot of people who buy this
probably never really use it, so my recommendation is still to use a real
person to do the typing!

NEW ITEMS
The NEW Olympus DS-2400 has arrived. It offers the same as the old DS2300
with a few additional features. It records in DSS Pro format which means files
are compressed even more the standard DSS. It has 3 programmable function
switches on the front and uses SD cards instead of the more hard to get xD ones.
